Part II of the solid food adventure: Aubrey's success on the first day of solid food was followed on the second day by a misadventure of sorts. She would barely open her mouth to accept the spoon and was on well on her way to making a big mess of the meal. Thinking quickly, I gave a demonstration of "proper" eating. Aubrey got the point:

Sure, teach her to open wide now, thinking you're so smart... that's what we did to. That just let's 'em get more air in the mouth when they decide to let it blow. There should be an Allaine blog coming up shortly demonstrating just how effective our teachings were... Good luck!
